A big congratulations to 20 year old Izzy Hindmarsh on playing her 100th NPLW game and 15 year old Grace Fenson on making her first-team debut in Belconnen United’s round 18 win over Majura FC. 👏⚽️

Both girls put in strong performances, with Izzy getting on the scoresheet and Gracie providing an assist. It capped off a pretty special day for Gracie, who also scored twice for the U18s earlier in the day, taking the midfielder’s tally to 27 goals for the season.

We’ve been fortunate to work with both girls individually over the past few years — Izzy 1–2 times a week for the past 18 months and Gracie 1–2 times a week for the past three years.

Over the last three months, they’ve also started training together in 2-on-1 sessions and it’s been great to see what that added dynamic has brought to both players. Training alongside another quality player creates different challenges — more competition, more decision-making, more opportunities to learn from each other and still plenty of individual feedback.

It’s a big part of why we love working with small groups of 2–6 players. Sessions stay individualised and focused on what each player needs, while adding the intensity, pressure and interaction that can be difficult to recreate when training alone.

Plenty more to come from these two. 💪⚽️

It was great to catch up and work with Gabe Cole again, former Monaro Panther and current captain at Stockport Town Football Club, playing in the North West Counties League in England.

A true technician and professional, we wish him Gabe the very best for the 2026/27 season.

It’s always to catch up with two of the OGs of Pivot Football, Leo and Tatum Mazis, for a 2 on 1 ‘Finishing’ session over the Easter weekend.

Leo and Tatum have had impressive starts to 2026 with their new teams, Caroline Springs George Cross (NPL VIC) and Brisbane City (NPLW QLD), with multiple goal involvements.

Special thanks to Pete, Gess and Caelee Mazis for the footage and ball collection!

We wish Leo and Tatum all the very best for the rest of the season.

Individual and small group performance training.

It was great catching up with Atiya this past week after an incredible 2024, where he scored 14 goals for the men’s NPL champions, Canberra Croatia FC, was invited to train with several A-League clubs and was also named in the U18 Australian Schoolboys team to tour the UK.

Atiya has started 2025 at full pace, signing a youth contract with A-League club Macarthur FC and being invited to a recent Young Socceroos training camp.

We wish Atiya continued success and look forward to seeing what else he achieves in 2025.
