From Europe to ASEAN – The Journey Continues.

The arrows have flown, champions have been crowned, and another memorable HDH European Historical Archery Championships has come to a close in Hungary.

Now, the focus turns to Southeast Asia.

From 16–21 November 2026, the international historical archery community will gather in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, for the HDH ASEAN Historical Archery Championships (HACC) 2026—the first official HDH-IAA regional championship dedicated to the ASEAN region.

HACC 2026 is more than a competition. It is a celebration of history, culture, friendship, and the shared traditions that unite historical archers across continents. Whether you are travelling from Europe, Asia, the Middle East, or beyond, Kuala Lumpur awaits.

The championship programme includes:

• Historical Archery Championship
• Long Distance Target Shooting Championship
• Pahlawan Games Championship

To encourage greater participation from across Southeast Asia, HDH Archery Malaysia has introduced the ASEAN Participation Grant. Official HDH-IAA representatives in ASEAN have each been allocated 10 grant quotas, allowing eligible participants to register at the special subsidised rate of EUR 99, together with 2 complimentary championship quotas for their national delegation.

Registration is now open for archers from around the world through the official HDH-IAA registration platform. We encourage all historical archers to secure their place and join us for this landmark championship in the heart of Southeast Asia.

After Europe, the journey continues in Malaysia.

Dear Competitors,

In response to your requests, the registration and payment deadline for the European Championship has been extended until April 30. Please make sure to meet this deadline.

The entry fee can be paid individually by credit card through the registration website. If you would like to make a group payment or pay by bank transfer (for example on behalf of a club or federation), please send an email to [email protected] with the names of the competitors, as well as the billing details indicating in whose name the invoice for the entry fee should be issued and where it should be sent.

If any changes need to be made to your registration, please also send them by email no later than April 30.

Accommodation options in Eger, especially around the Castle, are filling up quickly, so those who have not yet booked their accommodation are advised to do so as soon as possible.

For those who need it, information about airport transfer options will also be sent out soon.

Until then, we wish you good luck and successful practice, and we look forward to seeing you at the end of June in Eger, at Eger Castle!

A kéréseknek megfelelően az Európa-bajnokságra a nevezési és befizetési határidőt meghosszabbítottuk április 30-ig. Kérjük, ezt a határidőt tartsátok be!

A nevezési díjat egyénileg a nevezési honlapon keresztül, bankkártyával tudjátok befizetni. Ha csoportosan szeretnétek fizetni vagy utalással rendeznétek a nevezési díjat (például egyesület vagy szövetség nevében), akkor kérjük, a megadott e-mail-címre ([email protected]) küldjétek el a versenyzők neveit, valamint azt is, hogy a nevezési díjról szóló számlát kinek a nevére állítsuk ki, és hová küldjük meg.

Amennyiben a nevezéseteken bármit módosítani kell, azt is e-mailben jelezzétek április 30-ig.

A szálláshelyek Egerben, a vár környékén rohamosan fogynak, ezért aki még nem foglalt szállást, annak javasoljuk, hogy ezt mihamarabb tegye meg.

Akiknek szükséges, a reptéri transzferlehetőségeket is hamarosan kiküldjük.

Addig is jó és sikeres felkészülést kívánunk, és találkozzunk június végén Egerben, az Egri várban!
