What I enjoy the most about dance is the flow it creates and requires. I love working on this with my students, and it’s a topic we keep coming back to in many different ways on RAQSoul, too.

Come and join us there and let’s flow together. 💗

What are you bringing into this new dance season?

It doesn’t have to be a big goal or a new challenge. It can be a feeling, an intention, a wish, or simply something you’d like to have more of in your dancing. More time to dance? More confidence? Or just a little more kindness towards yourself?

Will you share it with me in the comments? ❤️💬

Food for thought ✨

There are feelings that words can’t describe, yet dance and movement can. One of the things I love most about dance is that it gives us another language, with which we can express something that lives in us even when we don’t know how to put it into words. And we all “speak” it differently.

This is what I’d love to help you find through RAQSoul: your own voice and your own way of telling a story through the language of raqs sharki.

Missing the CAIRO! Fest vibe? Oh, we're already counting the days! And tomorrow, on 10 September, the early bird registration opens for the 2027 edition with the Sparkling September Sale! ✨

Until we can finally meet again, join me on RAQSoul and let's start getting into the festie mood together with this special live recording of my Zay el Hawa classic song choreography workshop from last year:

If you were there, come relive these moments with me. If you weren’t, catch a little piece of the atmosphere from home and join us in Budapest next year. 😍

Returning to dance after the summer break with fully recharged batteries? Or maybe not so much? I’ve been there too.

Let’s chat? 💬

A little glimpse into our RAQSummer Intensive Budapest last weekend. ✨

Oh, how wonderful these four days were! I’m still gathering my thoughts and trying to put into words the gratitude I feel for having spent these last days of summer with such an amazing group of dancers.

Thank you wonderful ladies for bringing your energy, creativity and openness into our little RAQSummer bubble. I’m still somewhere in there, not quite ready to come back to reality yet, but I promise I’ll share more about it soon… ❤

Can you believe summer is almost over? ☀🍂

We're already planning the new season on RAQSoul, preparing lots of exciting and inspiring things for you... 😍

But I’d love to hear from you too: what would you love to see more of this autumn? Is there a specific topic, style, type of class or guest teacher you’d be excited about?

Tell me what’s on your RAQSoul wishlist! 💬❤️

Something I’ve been looking forward to all summer… tomorrow, RAQSummer Intensive finally begins in Budapest! ❤️
The first participants are arriving, and I’m so excited for these days of dancing, creating and discovering together.

And on Friday, you can join us ONLINE for a special Cinematic Oriental workshop. 🎥🎞
We'll spend two hours working on combinations to a classic song from the Golden Era of Egyptian music, in a brand new version you’ve never heard before. We’ll explore its music, rhythm and lyrics through movement and work on all the little details that make this piece unique.

RAQSummer Intensive Open Class
📅 AUGUST 28 (Friday) 14:00–16:00 CEST

FREE for RAQSoul members
40€ for guests

Join us through the link in bio.

Can't wait to share this unique workshop with you. ✨
