the most important day of the year at 💙 World Ocean Day 🩵

if you've been following us for a while, you know our founder chooses a marine animal every year to contribute to and focus our conservation efforts on🔱

this year is a little different!
and - incredibly important, as we raise awareness about the 🔸LIONFISH🔸

➡️ LIONFISH is an invasive tropical fish that arrived to the Mediterranean and has been endangering our native Adriatic Sea's marine life:
🛑 a single adult lionfish can have a serious impact on the local ecosystem
🛑 their fins may be beautiful but they are venomous
🛑 lionfish is edible and considered very tasty, so many countries actively harvest them to help control their spread and protect the native species
⭕️ we support our diver collaborators in direct efforts to curb its negative effects on local flora and fauna!
