Literally had the most fun of my life making this 😅⛱️

There is no such thing as other people’s children.

Yesterday I got a message from a man whose daughter is dying.

Her name is Talia.

His Talia is no different to my Thalia.

Parenting while this horror unfolds feels impossible.

I lie awake while my babies sleep, noticing their small movements

knowing a mother 2,000 miles away has just watched her child take their last breath.

I hear the quiet of bedtime

knowing a mother 2,000 miles away is covering her child’s ears from bombs.

I roll my eyes when they ask for another story

knowing a mother 2,000 miles away would give anything to be asked the same.

I skip the supermarket

knowing a mother 2,000 miles away is walking for miles in search of a bag of flour.

I am ashamed.

Ashamed to come from a country doing the bare minimum.

Ashamed to read stories from Palestine and not have the power to do more than share them.

Ashamed to be part of a world sitting back as babies are INTENTIONALLY STARVED.

Children are being murdered while waiting for food.

Parents are mourning children they love AS MUCH AS we love ours.

Please. Don’t be a bystander.
