Sveti Nikola (Saint Nikola) - Croatia's northernmost island. Wrapped in the pine forest and surrounded by two kilometres of crystally clean coastline.
The island is inhabited apart from the hotel resort built in 2015.
Everyone can come and visit it by boat from Poreč. Diving here is excellent, dolphins are frequent in July and August.
This island used to be privately owned by the Venetian merchant family who also built the elegant castle and restored the 14th century lighthouse, the oldest in Croatia
