🏆 A Sneak Peek at ARWC 2027
(Straight from the Race Director’s notebook 😎)

We know all eyes are currently on Corsica for the 2026 Adventure Racing World Championship - and rightly so, it’s going to be an incredible race! But we wanted to share a few early details about what’s coming to Croatia in 2027.

📅 Race dates: September 14-25, 2027

🗺️ The course (so far):

600-650 km total
12,000 m of elevation gain
16 stages
Longest bike stage: 129 km
Longest trekking stage: ~60 km
Longest kayak stage: ~35 km

⚠️ The course isn’t finalized yet, and these numbers aren’t final - but we’re already really happy with what we’ve put together so far. With more work still to come, it’s only going to get better and even more beautiful.

We’re building a course that showcases the full range of what Croatia has to offer - mountains, coastline, rivers, and everything in between. More details on the route, stages, and race format will be released as we get closer to launch.

For now, good luck to all the teams racing in Corsica this year - we’ll be watching! 🇫🇷

Tough Decisions 💔 ARC rides into the dark

After much thought and wrestling on the edge of yes and no, we’ve made the decision not to hold ARC in 2025.

It makes us wonder: what makes a race great?
The challenge, the landscapes, the organization, but most of all, the experience it creates. ARC has always delivered on all of these. But something has changed. The passion is still there, but the interest this year was different.

Whether it’s shifts in the sport, rising costs, or factors beyond our control, we simply didn’t get enough teams or the support needed to make the race happen at the level we believe in.

ARC takes time, effort, and dedication to deliver the adventure you expect - so we refuse to offer anything less than our best.
