Lone Star Dive & Fish Roatan

Chamber of Commerce kind of day for a trip to Pigeon Caye with a little fishing. 1/2 on Wahoo, 2 Barra, and a few Snapper for Cevechie. Thanks Dave Moore and his crew for a great day aboard with Lone Star Dive & Fish.

We had to cover some ground today, but we made it happen. First one on the south side off western end of Morat Bank. A first of a lifetime for the crew with a Mutton Snapper on the troll across the Morat Flat coming home.

"Hours of boredom punctuated with moments of mayhem", definitely proved true in the final flurry. :30 from home we get a Wahoo triple! First one on the deep planer promptly got cut off when a second fish tries to eat the planer and cuts the 400 # leader. Next was in the prop wash and I saw him laugh on the way out. Third was the charm and had our angler begging "No mas", after a 600yd, reel screaming rip.

3 hour trip for a group off Royal Carribean ship this morning. 2 for 3 on Wahoo, 3 Barra, and a mess of Tuna. I think Wahoo season has finally arrived! Limited openings between now and New Years, book early and let's go CATCHING!

Another great 3 hour tour this morning. 1 Mahi, 1 Barra, 2 Skipjack, and 17Blackfin.

Another busy morning with the Vermillion family from Georgia. Little 10 yr old Kate will be a lady angler to look out for.

Sunday funday with the expat crew. 22 Lionfish, 5 Tuna, 2 Barra, and 11 mixed species Snapper. Sharon Quigley with the Slob du Jour honors today! She's a Slayer.

Another busy 3 hour tour. Mahi are chewing!
