Yoga Philosophy Lesson 1 ~ ethical teaching. I have mentioned in my previous pose that yoga is not just the asana practice but it has alot more than that. Practice makes perfect, this seems like an easy saying that we always say. And surely, we put a lot of effort and time in practicing asanas, especially advanced asanas. But, how much effort do we put in practicing other aspects of yoga? I personally think yoga philosophy is as important as yoga asanas, and they are very interesting too. but it's hard to express it in a photo. let's talk about it more later, for now, just keep in mind that yoga is more than doing.crazy poses π

There are times when things are not that smooth in life, and I am currently right in the middle of that particular moment. And sometimes it is not easy to express in words or share with friends. Simply, Feeling sad and stressed. But I forgive myself for being a little sad, accepting my feelings, and giving myself a gentle hug. It is okay not to be positive all the time. It is okay to choose to be sad.

How to?
How to backbend? This is not a tutorial post, rather, lets talk about attitude to practice back bend. First of all, do not compare with others as we all have different bodies. Second, know your own body well, knowing which part need more practice? shoulders? hip flexor? lumber? Third, keep practicing and be patient. don't think about progress too much, and the magic will happen with consistent practice. β€

starting a new chapter of life, usually it's not easy, with some regrets, asking myself why did I step out of comfort zone and giving myself a hard time? it felt like moving from pincha practice to handstand practice, starting things all over again π
but then on second thought, it's equally excited to be in this asventure with new inspirations β€

Today is the 11th day of my holiday, my body is constantly tired. the more sleep I get, the more sleep I need π΄π©π«πͺπ well, I am quite happy with my holiday, I spent so much time with myself π and my bed π

On the topic of crossing life paths, I'm very grateful that I have met , we may not have known eachother for a long time, but im very happy that I became his student. So happy that he is willing to lift me up π€£ not just physically I mean, but lifting and leading my yoga practice/ understanding to another stage. thank you teacher π with all my heart, I'm truly grateful π

I am thankful for having crossed paths with you. I believe every single person I encountered in life has a certain purpose and meaning to my life. Some more significant, some less. let's talk about mudra today. is the mudra of awareness, with the index finger touching the thumb. you might not understand why this is called mudra of awareness, try doing it for 5 mins, you will find you need to be so focus and concentrated to keep the finger tips touching each other

It's always impressive to look at the end product, but the process is actually as valuable. Revisiting my yoga journey, it all started in 2009, when it was just a tool to improve my dancing, and a time to connect with fds. It wasn't as easy as now to take photos, videos or post anything in social media. People may not understand how long and how much you have committed to the practice, but they only see your
