End of year Dragon Boat party!

Pics of our 2021 Dragon Boat race day. We won first place our first race but didn’t do as well the next two. We learned a lot and will come back stronger next year.

Great training session today with the team. Special shout out to our veterans Sue and Doug Stevens for the photos and historical perspective. We have focus, patriotism, attitude, and sense of humor. It is going to be a great season.

Team! We have our first practice this week. Remember to bring your required equipment, membership dues, and a positive mental attitude. Be at the training area by 7:45 am to being our stretches and warm-up.

Hello 2021 Stars and Stripes Dragon Boat Team! With the positive cases in our consulate community and HKG protocols to get tested, we are cancelling our training session on this Saturday and have our first practice rescheduled to Saturday, March 27th from 8-9 am. Let me know if anyone has questions.

This year we celebrated Tuen Ng festival a little bit differently. We were able to participate in more of the cultural aspects such as the eye dotting ritual and waking the dragon! We also participated in the Stanley Bai Sun Parade.

Our last practice before the Tuen Ng Festival! It was great to paddle as a team again!
