Despite the T1 signal and pouring rain today, some runners insisted going for a run, one of which includes Muhammad Shujahat, a Year 3 PhD student in the Faculty of Education. As one of the founding members of Shun Hing running club, he felt that his passion for running would not be detered by the rain.

On Sunday, April 25th, 13 members of our running club participated in the Virtual Trail 2.0 race. This event was organized by Resident Tutor Hugo Novales, now a seven-time Spartan race finisher, but for the rest of the participants, it was their first-ever race.

The route was a 10-kilometer trail run that started and ended in Quarry Bay and looped through Mount Parker, Siu Ma Shan, Jardine's Lookout, and Tai Tam Reservoir. While maintaining social distancing along the trails, everyone faced the challenging run head-on and had so much fun!

Such dedication to fitness during the current pandemic is an exemplary quality of our club and

Congratulations to all the finishers!
