DEF Fight Night 40 – The Bridge to Professional Boxing
DEF Fight Night is taking a clear step forward. We are dedicating the entire card to semi-professional boxing — a focused stepping stone for amateur boxers who want to experience how professional boxing actually works.
Every bout will be 4 rounds × 3 minutes under purpose-designed semi-pro transition rules:
• Gloves: 12 oz (Super Lightweight & below) / 14 oz (Welterweight & above)
• No headgear
• Professional 10-point must scoring
• Standing 8 count protection
• Full professional foul enforcement
This format gives boxers and coaches real insight into pro rules, pace, and ringcraft while maintaining strong safety standards. Importantly, it allows amateur boxers to test making weight for different classes — a critical skill when moving to professional boxing. Boxers will also learn essential professional skills such as proper hand wrapping, ring conduct, and the key differences in rules compared to amateur boxing.
All bouts will be conducted under HKPBB standards with fighter safety as the top priority. Standout performers will be fast-tracked for further opportunities, including the Rookie King pathway.
This is more than an event — it is a deliberate investment in Hong Kong’s next generation of professional boxers.

弗洛伊德·梅威瑟涉用空頭支票購買20萬美元名錶 遭控兩項重罪
【拉斯維加斯綜合報道】美國拳擊傳奇人物弗洛伊德·梅威瑟（Floyd Mayweather）近日被內華達州克拉克縣檢察官正式起訴，面臨兩項重罪指控，案件與他 allegedly 用一張20萬美元空頭支票購買奢侈名錶有關。
據法院文件顯示，梅威瑟被控盜竊罪（價值10萬美元或以上）及意圖欺詐開具或兌現空頭支票罪。兩項均屬重罪。
事件發生在2024年12月。梅威瑟 allegedly 在拉斯維加斯高級珠寶轉售店「Gold and Beyond」購買了一隻價值約20萬美元的愛彼（Audemars Piguet）名錶，並開出一張同額支票支付。該支票來自他的富國銀行（Wells Fargo）戶口，但戶口當時資金不足，支票被存入後遭退票。
檢察官指控，梅威瑟在開出支票時「明知戶口資金、財產或信用不足」，卻仍「 knowingly、feloniously（重罪性質）且無合法授權」地使用該支票換取財產。店方其後嘗試私下追討超過一年，仍未收到款項，才正式報案。
根據最新進展，梅威瑟已於2026年6月16日透過律師出席拉斯維加斯司法法院的首次聆訊，他本人並無親自到庭。律師的出席已滿足法庭要求。案件下次聆訊定於2026年9月進行。
目前梅威瑟僅被起訴，尚未定罪，依法仍推定無罪。若最終罪名成立，欺詐罪最高可判監4年及罰款5,000美元；盜竊罪則最高可判監20年。
