Taking a trip down memory lane to the day we took TFG on the road for the very first time.

We had the privilege of bringing our club fitting expertise to HKGTA’s world-class facilities, conducting exclusive fittings for their patrons. It was a day full of firsts—many golfers experienced their very first club fitting, and our team got to deliver the studio experience in a different setting.

We loved having Izzy Leung in the studio. She came in for a simple lie angle adjustment, but after digging into the data, we discovered that her issue required a completely different solution—including adjusting swing weights and introducing new options in her driver and hybrids.🏌🏻‍♀️

Stronger lofts don’t always mean more distance. 🚨

Our client came in frustrated with his packaged-set irons, struggling with both carry and consistency. The fix we landed on? We went weaker by 2–3 degrees across the board.

Dowson Zheng breaks down exactly why that worked: we prioritized launch, spin, and ball speed over a strong number on the sole. The result? Peak height jumped from 35ft to 70ft+, descent angle hit the 40s, and he gained 20–30 yards of carry—while stopping the ball faster than before.

The winning combo? TaylorMade Golf P790 heads, an over-length graphite build, and a TP5 ball to dial in that final spin piece.

Fitting insight? It’s not about the loft stamped on the club—it’s about how the ball flies. 📈🏌️‍♂️

This shaft was engineered by two of Accra’s female staff members specifically for the female swing. But here’s the plot twist: it’s a secret weapon for juniors and moderate swing speeds too.

The flex matrix:
🔹 W1 = High launch + High spin (max help)
🔹 W2–W4 = Moderate ball flight
🔹 W5 = Lower launch + Lower spin (for stronger hitters)

This player got fitted into a Parsons Xtreme Golf driver and PING woods, and we balanced the gapping by keeping the W2 flex consistent through the bag.
