Coming back doesn’t mean standing still. 🏡

Orla Colling returns to Hong Kong for her placement year, balancing Loughborough, work with HKCR, preseason and a rugby journey that still has plenty ahead.

We caught her before work to talk about life, standards and just how far she wants to take the game.

Some journeys have a way of bringing you back.

Poppy Tyrrell grew up at the Bay before leaving Hong Kong for Cardiff, new experiences and a different chapter of rugby.

Now, after representing Hong Kong U23s, she’s back where it started. Just not as the same person who left.

We sat her down to talk about leaving, growing and finding her way back home. 🏡☕️♥️💚

Leadership has landed.

Gabby Della-Savina joins the Bay after captaining Cardiff University Women and helping lead the side to Welsh Varsity success.

A back-rower shaped by responsibility, work rate and the standards of a winning environment.

Now, she brings that experience to Hong Kong.

Welcome to the Bay, Gabby. 🇬🇧♥️🐉

A new voice at halfback.

Nora Sharman joins the Bay from the UK, ready to begin a new rugby chapter in Hong Kong.

A fly-half with the opportunity to shape the game and bring her own identity to the Bay backline.

Welcome to the Bay, Nora. 🇬🇧♥️🐉

Back where it started. Ready for what comes next.

Orla Colling came through Mini and Youth rugby at Sandy Bay before taking the next step in her development at Loughborough University.

Now back in Hong Kong for her placement year, and fresh from representing Hong Kong U23s, the back-rower returns to the Bay with another chapter still to write.

She knows where she came from.
Now it’s about where she can go.

Welcome back to the Bays, Orla. ♥️🤍💚

Some journeys lead you home. 🏡

Poppy Tyrrell grew up in Sandy Bay colours before taking her rugby to Cardiff University.

Now, following a recent Hong Kong U23 campaign at number eight, she returns to where it all began, carrying more with her than when she left.

More experience.
More perspective.
The same home.

Welcome back to the Bays, Poppy. ♥️🤍💚
