Hong Kong’s loaded tournament schedule has just confirmed its latest star attraction with the China’s Tour’s Fanling Classic now set for play across The Hong Kong Golf Club’s Old Course from August 24 to 28.
“After the success we had working as strategic partners with the China Golf Association at last year’s National Games, the new tournament strengthens the bonds between our two organisations and will help further the development of the game both in Hong Kong and across the Greater Bay Area,” says Golf Association of Hong Kong, China CEO Danny Lai.

由中國香港高爾夫球協會主辦的2026年「仲夏經典賽」兩天賽事於上週五在粉嶺哥爾夫球會順利完成，最終譚承浠以69桿勇奪男子比桿賽總桿組冠軍，亞軍是Wu Sheng Hao（71桿），季軍則是 Frank Leung（74桿）。

男子比桿賽淨桿組冠軍由交出69桿的Evan Yung奪得，領先同樣交出70桿的Sakano Kazunori和Chung Wing Hung。

男子史特伯福特總桿賽方面，Cheng Ka Po以28分奪冠，亞軍是同得28分的Chan Cheung Kwong，季軍則是David Chung（27分）。淨桿賽方面，Patrick Tsang 和 Chan Kar-fai 同樣交出 44 分，按倒數計分規則，Patrick Tsang 勝出，Chan Kar-fai 獲亞軍。

女子組方面，Amy Yu以32分在史特伯福特總桿賽中脫穎而出，亞軍是Chen Kiching（27分），季軍則是 Kaylee Wong（25分）。淨桿賽冠軍由交出37分的Tsoi Lee Lee奪得，亞軍為Ellen Chan（35分），季軍則是Hieh Ching-ching（34分）。

The Mid Summer Classic Tournament 2026 finished up last Friday at the Hong Kong Golf Club.
Anson Tam signed for a 69 in the men’s gross strokeplay competition, ahead of Wu Sheng Hao (71) and Frank Leung (74), while Evan Yung finished on 69 in the men’s nett stroke play, ahead of Sakano Kazunori and Chung Wing Hung on 70.
Cheng Ka Po took out the men‘s gross stableford competition with 28 points ahead of Chan Cheung Kwong (28 points) and David Chung (27 points), while Patrick Tsang and Chan Kar Fai finished on 44 points in the men’s nett stablefold, with Tsang taking the win on a countback.
Amy Yu took out the ladies’ gross stableford competition with 32 points ahead of Chen Kiching (27 points) and Wong Kaylee (25 points).
The ladies’ nett stableford competition was won by Amy Yu (37 points), ahead of Ellen Chan (35 points) and Hieh Ching-ching (34 points).

Hanny Wang Xizihan has been in constant motion over the past month as the rising Hong Kong, China National Team star deals with her life both on and off the course.
There have been consecutive finishes of T3 and then third on the CLPGQ Tour as her game continues to develop. There’s been graduation from Beijing Haidian Tengfei Academy. Oh, and there’s been confirmation that Hanny will be heading to the famed Yale University campus in Connecticut her college career starts in the fall.

This week’s Uswing Mojing Junior World Golf Championship in California kicks off a jam-packed month of tournaments and of travel for Hong Kong, China golfers that includes events in Singapore and Malaysia as well as those being staged as part of the ultra-competitive summer season for juniors in the United States.

A busy few weeks for Hong Kong, China’s traveling juniors has kicked off at the 19th FCG International Championship with Ethan Tian Jun and Anthony Fang Kaixian finishing T3 and T5, respectively, in the Boys 15-18 tournament, played at Pala Mesa Resort in Fallbrook, California.

Tian signed off on a nine-under-par 207 (67-69-71) - five strokes off winner Leo Higa Ng of Malaysia – while there was an eight-under 208 (65-69-74) from Fang.

Earlier, there was joy for the SAR with a 1-2 finish in the Girls 13-14, Peggy Peiqi Hou taking the title with a 12-under 132 (65-67) and Doris Sung Mut-ham finishing second on eight-under 136 (70-66). Joseph Cao meanwhile finished second on seven-under 137 (70-67) in the Boys 13-14.

Other results from the week saw Isaac Timso finish T7 in the Boys 11-12 and Stella Yang finish fourth in the Girls 7-8.

杭州「亞運會」個人賽金牌得主許龍一，將再次與其「銅牌」隊友黑純一和張雄熙攜手出戰今年9月至10月舉行的第20屆「亞運會」。
此外，丁慧中、劉弦和韓紫琳亦已確定代表中國香港隊出戰「亞運會」。本屆「亞運會」高爾夫球賽事將於9月30日至10月3日在日本愛知縣的春日井鄉村俱樂部（Kasugai Country Club）東場舉行。
2022年在杭州舉行的上屆「亞運會」中，許龍一創造歷史，為港隊奪得該項目史上首枚金牌；男子隊亦成功奪得銅牌，同樣創下港隊在該項目的最佳戰績。

Reigning Asian Games champion Taichi Kho will be reunited with his bronze medal-winning teammates Jason Hak Shun-yat and Matthew Cheung for the 20th staging of the region‘s premier multi-sport event this September-October.

It has been further confirmed that Ginnie Ding, Arianna Lau and Sophie Han will also represent Hong Kong, China in Aichi Prefecture, Japan, with the two golf tournaments set to be staged from September 30 to October 3 at the Kasugai Country Club, East Course.

Kho etched his name in the history books at the last Asian Games, staged in Hangzhou in 2022, when he claimed the SAR’s first gold medal in the sport, while bronze in the men‘s event was also a best-ever performance for the city.
