Many thanks to our Commodore Lucy Sutro and Past Commodore Inge Strompf-Jepsen for taking the time last weekend to talk to Sharks team sailors. Inge and Lucy very kindly gave a presentation about their history at the club, how the club operates through member’s contributions and how they can be active members of the club’s community outside of Middle Island. We hope to see many of our young sailors in the room inspired to become active members of the club for many years to come.

Finally after few days of heavy rain the sun gave us another great afternoon racing for St. James’s Place sunset series and a deserved 3rd place for the Shark team!

Today is International Youth Day. Here at RHKYC, we encourage and empower our youth sailors, rowers and paddlers to be their best, maximise their experiences and enjoy life sustainably on and around the water. We are very proud of all of our youth who do much to contribute and participate in every aspect of Club life be it through participation in our water sports or through our sustainability efforts. We are also very proud of the work of RHKYC Charity Foundation which seeks to inspire, motivate and support underprivileged children and youth.
