On Thursday's Backchat, we kick-off at the World Cup , where US President Donald Trump sparked outrage by asking Fifa to review Folarin Balogun's World Cup red card. Has a dangerous precedent been set?

We'll then chat with a lawmaker about the government’s proposed overhaul of Hong Kong’s sexual offence laws. The sweeping updates include introducing new crimes, creating a uniform age of consent at 16, removing gender-specific language, and increasing penalties.

After the break, we'll learn all about a survey that examined the training and development needs of employees under AI-driven transformation.

And finally, we'll get an expert's take on the recent national elections in Latin America, most recently Keiko Fujimori's path to the Peruvian presidency. What does the success of right-wing parties mean for the continent at large?

As always, we'd love to hear your thoughts. You can call us at 2338-8266, WhatsApp 6899-8518, email [email protected], or comment on our page "Backchat on RTHK Radio 3".
