Stairclimbing Japan Circuit is Japan’s premier series for the sport of stair climbing.

This season, an elite field of 20 men and 10 women will compete across five events — Nagoya, Gunma, Shiga, Tokyo, and Osaka. Athletes will accumulate points at each race, with the overall annual rankings determining the Stairclimbing King and Queen of Japan.

Set on one of the most accessible yet demanding terrains — the staircase — SJC showcases athletes pushing their limits, delivering raw, high-intensity performances and powerful moments of achievement unique to this sport.
