Ballycastle Runners AC sent us their original Marconi Run artwork, and we converted it into a 65 × 50 × 3 mm zinc alloy medal for production.

Bright nickel plating, blue/green/yellow soft enamel, custom black ribbon — all produced to match the event identity.

The last photo is the best part: the customer received the medals and confirmed delivery.

Probably one of the most fun marathon medals we’ve made recently.

At first it looks like a record player. Then the cover opens. The little record comes off. Put it back and it spins. And yes — the tonearm moves too.

Small details, but they completely change how the medal feels in hand.

275 Custom Powerlifting Medals – From Artwork to Delivery

Another custom medal project completed.

The client started with their 2026 powerlifting event artwork, and we handled the rest—from production drawing and mold development to CNC engraving, casting, polishing, silver-tone plating and soft enamel coloring.

The finished medal measures approximately 116 × 101.6 mm, with a 3 mm zinc alloy body, raised metal details and a clear protective epoxy finish.
After final inspection, the medals were packed and shipped to the United States by door-to-door sea freight.

Custom Pins Are More Than Just the Final Photo
When we quote a custom pin project, we’re also thinking about things that aren’t obvious in a mockup — small lettering, metal line width, enamel areas, pin size and even how many posts should be used on the back.

For these KG Classic pins, we used two butterfly clutch posts for better stability and made three separate designs with the same black-and-gold finish.

The photos show the whole order: artwork, approval, CNC molds, polished blanks, final pins, packing and shipment.

800 pcs completed and shipped to the Philippines.

Why We Confirm the 3D Model Before Making the Mold

A detailed challenge coin needs more than a flat logo file.

For this project, the customer approved the production drawing first. We then created two digital relief models so we could check the skull, weapons, flag, lettering and metal borders before engraving the mold.

That approval process gave our production team one clear standard to follow. It also helped us keep the finished coin close to the original design.

The final order combined antique bronze, double-sided relief and soft enamel. All 100 pieces were completed and delivered to Chile.

Planning Medals for a 5K, 10K or Running Event?
For this Comber 10K order, the customer supplied the original club logo. We then helped convert it into practical medal artwork, recommended the antique silver finish, revised the ribbon and planned production for 800 pieces.

We can work from a logo, sketch or reference image. We also recommend the size, thickness, plating and shipping method based on the budget and event deadline.

This shield-shaped medal was produced for Ballydrain Harriers AC and delivered to Northern Ireland.

For this cycling event medal, the customer wanted the bicycle wheel to become a real moving feature.

We divided the design into a fixed front panel and a separate cutout wheel on the back. Both parts were die-cast individually and joined through a center rivet and wear-resistant spacer.

When the back wheel turns, the transparent red, yellow, green and blue enamel remains visible through the open spokes. The medals were finished in matte silver and antique copper, with Tibetan lettering, a Potala Palace center insert and a custom event ribbon.

This is the kind of project where appearance and structure have to be developed together from the beginning.

This custom marathon medal combines double-sided deep relief, a removable fridge magnet element and a pure copper commemorative coin. The result feels more like a collectible than a standard event medal.
