The Hong Kong Football Club Soccer Section can confirm that First Team Head Coach, Chancy Cooke, will be stepping down from his position at the conclusion of his tenure.

Since joining our coaching infrastructure—initially making a significant impact as our Academy Manager and Women’s Team Coach before taking the reins of the Men’s First Team ahead of the 2024/25 season—Chancy has demonstrated immense professionalism, tactical acumen, and an unwavering commitment to the Club’s footballing philosophy.

Under his leadership, the First Team navigated highly competitive campaigns, highlighted by a historic run to the semi-finals of the 2024/25 Hong Kong FA Cup. True to his reputation as a developer of elite talent, Chancy’s tenure will be remembered for his dedicated integration of promising young, local players into the top-flight squad, laying a vital foundation for the Club’s future.

We express our sincere gratitude to Chancy for his tireless work ethic, leadership, and the high standards he instilled across the football section. The Club wishes him the absolute best in his new role as our Academy Technical Director!
