Fingers Turned In/Out: Instead of the standard forward-facing orientation, you can angle the hands inward/ outward. Positioning fingers to point outwards (โ€˜round the range of 90 degrees) helps engage the upper arms, broadens the upper back, and changes how you bear weight through the wrist and elbow. Similar results on variations of wrist/ forearm rotations in Pincha Mayurasana/ Feathered Peacock Pose (See February 11, 2024 post)

Hands On Blocks/Props: Elevating the hands adds height to establish a better foundation, increases upper arm muscle integrity, and relieves strain in the elbow joints.

Oopsies. ๐Ÿซข I know, I know. Use a neck support ( a. k. a. the glorified toilet seat ๐Ÿ˜…) to prevent you from wearing one.

These headstand variations require exceptional upper-body strength, core stability, and precise spatial awareness. (I had my heels touch the pillar)
