A SPECIAL VISIT AT THE SWESO QUALIFIERS ⚽👏🏽

The ongoing SWESO 2026 Qualifiers received a special guest during the early morning match between RB Miami and the Super Eagles.

The Honourable Minister of Youth and Sports, Hon. Bakary Y. Badjie, joined the Super Eagles technical bench and watched the team battle to a goalless draw before winning 5-4 on penalties.

His presence brought great excitement to the players, officials, supporters, and the entire Serrekunda West football community. For a busy national leader to make time and sit among young people at a community football match shows his commitment to youth and sports development.

Perhaps the Honourable Minister also brought a lucky charm for the Super Eagles on the day. 😄

SWESO sincerely appreciates Hon. Bakary Y. Badjie for honouring our qualifiers with his presence and for continuing to support young people in doing what they love.

KMRFA APPROVES REFEREES FOR SWESO COMPETITIONS ⚽

The Serrekunda West Sports Organisation (SWESO) is pleased to inform all stakeholders that the Kanifing Municipality Regional Football Association has officially approved our request for referees to officiate the ongoing qualifiers and the upcoming Nawettan competition.

Earlier, the referees were not available because of their involvement in the KMRFA Third Division competitions. Following the completion of those engagements, clearance has now been granted.

SWESO welcomes this development and thanks KMRFA and the KM Referees Association for their support and cooperation.
