🌞🌊 WHAT A GREAT BEACH DAY! 🏊🏽‍♀️🏊🏽‍♂️🏖️

Thursday, 13 August 2026, was one to remember as the Swim Gambia Sporting Club family took our swimming experience from the pool to the ocean!

☀️ Sunny skies
💦 Warm, calm waters
🏊🏽 Ocean swimming
🛟 Beach & water-safety awareness
😄 Plenty of fun!

Our Lead Swim Instructor, Musa Camara, gave swimmers important guidance on beach safety, including understanding beach flags and recognising conditions that require caution. The swimmers were then organised into groups and guided into the sea to experience ocean swimming under supervision.

And judging by how much fun everyone had, even some of the parents had to be dragged out of the water! 😂🌊

A huge thank you to our instructors, parents, guardians and all our swimmers for making the day such a memorable experience. 💙👏🏽

As we enter the final week of our 1st Summer Swimming Session, we’re excited to announce that registration for Session 2 is now open! 🎉
