The Gambia Football Federation (GFF) is deeply saddened to announce the sudden passing of Sibanor United Football Club defender, Modou Saidy, popularly known to the football fraternity as "Kante."
Modou tragically passed away today after collapsing on the pitch while participating in a football match in Casamance.
A talented and dependable left-back, Modou was an integral part of Sibanor United’s campaign in the just-concluded GFF Second Division League. His commitment, work rate, and sportsmanship on and off the pitch earned him immense respect from teammates, opponents, and fans alike.
On behalf of the President, Executive Committee, and the entire Gambian football family, the GFF extends its heartfelt condolences to the management, technical staff, players, and supporters of Sibanor United, as well as Modou's bereaved family and friends.
We pray that the Almighty Allah grants his soul eternal peace and grants his family and loved ones the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss.
May his soul rest in Eternal Peace.

Musa Barrow Transfer Talks Underway

GPA FC can confirm that the club is currently in discussions with the camp of Gambian international Musa Barrow over the possibility of signing the national team talisman.

The forward is currently a free agent, and talks are ongoing to explore the possibility of reaching an agreement. While negotiations remain at an early stage, both parties are engaged in positive discussions.

The club will provide further updates as the situation develops. Until an agreement is officially reached, no deal has been finalized.
