Then it’s off to Kangerlussuaq, where you’ll explore the Arctic, walk on the ice sheet, and discover the race route.

As race day approaches, the excitement builds whether you take on the half-marathon, full marathon, or the Polar Bear Challenge.💪

The Korean TV personality Kian84, Hwawoon Kwon, and Kangnam took on the challenge of the Extreme 84 by joining the Polar Circle Marathon 2025, documenting their entire race week, from arrival to the final stretch.

The show captures the raw atmosphere, the physical and mental challenge, and the emotional highs and lows of running in the Arctic, all delivered in their signature honest and entertaining style.

In many parts of the world, Christmas celebrations begin on December 24. The same is true in Greenland, home to the Polar Circle Marathon, ASI Ultra Marathon, and Icefjord Midnight Marathon. Here, Christmas Eve is often celebrated by dancing around the Christmas tree — a beautiful tradition that brings family, friends, and communities together.

From the Arctic landscapes we run through to the journeys we share as runners and adventurers, this season is about connection, reflection, and joy.
