Hey guys! Just to let you all know that *we’re back!*🎉

The club is officially up and running again, and both rooms now have aircon! ❄️ A massive thank you to all our members and everyone who donated to the fundraisers that helped make this possible. Also, a huge shout-out to the committee for all the hours spent cleaning and getting everything back in order, there was a thick layer of dust and it took a couple of days to get everything sorted! The club is already in use today with some card games and chilling in the sofa area, and *bookings can start again from tomorrow*. Just a couple of reminders: please switch off the aircon as you leave if you’re the only ones at the club, and please don’t move the Warhammer tables unless absolutely necessary, as we now have five tables available for other board/cards games, plus the sofa table. Thanks again for all your patience and support, it’s great to be back! ❤️

🎉 **6 Years of the Gibraltar Warhammer Club new premises Clubhouse** 🎉

Today marks six years since we officially opened the doors to our new club location, and I wanted to take a moment to thank each and every one of you who has supported the Gibraltar Warhammer Club throughout the years.

The journey wasn't an easy one. We received the keys to this new location just before COVID, and throughout the pandemic I spent as much time as possible working to turn the building into a home for our community. The premises needed new flooring, painting, electrical work, roof waterproofing, and much more. Thanks to the generosity of our members, we raised around £3,500, helping towards renovation costs that eventually totalled around £7,000!

Looking back, it's amazing to see how far we've come. I took on the Gibraltar Warhammer Club 16 years ago at the age of 23, with the goal of growing the hobby, organising events, and encouraging new generations of players to get involved. From our days at the War Bastion to the clubhouse we have today, it's been an incredible journey.

What makes me most proud is that we've grown into much more than just a Warhammer club. We've helped bring together board gamers, card gamers, and tabletop enthusiasts from across Gibraltar, creating a stronger and more connected gaming community for everyone.

Together, through the Gibraltar Warhammer Club and SN Battle Reports, we've also raised over £30,000 for charitable and community causes, something that reflects the generosity and spirit of this amazing community.

Thank you all for the friendships, support, memories, and countless dice rolls over the years. None of this would have been possible without you.

Here's to the next chapter and many more years of gaming, hobbying, and community.

Full house for Warhammer Wednesday at the club! 🔥🎲

We had 3 games of Horus Heresy and 3 games of the new 11th Edition Warhammer 40,000 running throughout the afternoon. The atmosphere was fantastic, and it was great to welcome some of our neighbours and good friends from Spain, who joined us for gaming and made use of the hobby table for painting and building projects.

Thanks to everyone who came along and made it another great Warhamner day.

Great Chilled Warhammer Wednesday

Another great Warhammer Wednesday! 🔥 Big thanks to everyone who came down! The club was full again, which was lovely to see, with plenty of familiar faces and some new visitors. Great to see three Old World games in action and the hobby table busy all afternoon.

A quick reminder: Warhammer Wednesdays are primarily for members. If you’ve already had a try-out session, we kindly ask that you become a member before your next booking. If you’d like a bit more time to try things out, our monthly pass is a great place to start.

Thanks to everyone who joined us this week for our second Warhammer Wednesday! Whether you were playing, hobbying, visiting, watching, or just showing support, we really appreciate it. It looked like a great day, and we hope you all enjoyed it!

Bookings will open again tomorrow for next Wednesday. Just a reminder that these sessions are primarily aimed for members, but we’re always happy for new people to come along and give it a try, just like some of you did today.

For just £7.50 a month, you can become a member, support the club, and enjoy extra benefits such as your personal booking times any day of the week, discounts at local hobby stores and Domino’s Pizza, as well as big savings on our club events and tournaments.

We’re currently fundraising for air conditioning and a new front door, so every bit of support helps.
