Princess vs Sery 🇬🇭🇨🇮

Ghana and Côte d’Ivoire met tonight, and for the first time, two women we’ve seen grow up under the same roof found themselves on opposite sides of the pitch.

I didn’t know how to celebrate Princess’ goal.

Not because we’re not happy for her. We are. Every part of her journey is worth celebrating.

But we were watching two of our girls play against each other for their countries.

One wins. One loses.

Princess found the net for Ghana. 🇬🇭
Sery gave everything for Côte d’Ivoire. 🇨🇮

And you feel every second of it.

Football can take people who shared the same home, the same pitches and the same dreams and suddenly put them against each other.

Tonight, one goes home with a win. The other with a loss.

But to us, they both remain our girls.

Proud of you both.

They once shared the same roof at Right to Dream.

Princess was there first. Safi and Sery followed, inspired by the journey they saw in front of them.

Years later, all three represented their countries at the Women’s AFCON.🇬🇭🇨🇮

Goals. Assists. Player of the Match awards. Big moments.😍

And somewhere, another girl is watching. 👀

Every child deserves to play, learn and grow in a safe environment. 💫

Today, on World Safe Sport Day, we’re reminded that creating that environment is something we all share responsibility for. 🙌

Over the past year, we’ve continued to strengthen how we protect and support young people across our community, helping make sport a safer place for every child. ✅

Every step prepared him for the next. ⏭️
9 years, Caleb Yirenkyi arrived at Right to Dream with a dream.

That dream led him to FC Nordsjælland.
Then came the Black Stars.
Then the FIFA World Cup.
Now, it takes him to Coventry City.
