The stage is set for Team Ghana at the World Athletics U20 Championships in Eugene, Oregon, USA, as Ghana's two representatives begin their campaigns on Thursday, 6 August 2026.

🏃🏾‍♂️ Godfred Opoku will compete in the Men's 400m Round 1, running in Heat 1, Lane 7. The Ghanaian quarter-miler enters the competition with a PB and SB of 45.38sec, aiming to secure qualification to the semi-finals.

Team Ghana delivered a superb performance to claim the bronze medal in the Men's 4×100m Relay at the 2026 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow.

The Ghanaian quartet crossed the finish line in 38.13sec, securing 3rd place in a thrilling contest behind Australia (38.07s) and Nigeria (38.12s).
