Thirty-seven weeks ago, the same people flooded my comments to fight me. Today, those very same people are on TV and across social media saying exactly what I said.
Please enjoy the comments.
The Commonwealth Games dream has died. A powerless coach. A powerless federation. The truth always catches up.

I am writing to express serious concerns regarding the recent events surrounding the Ghana Judo Federation elections.
Approximately one month before the federation elections, several members of the Ghana judo community were reportedly removed from official communication platforms and suspended from participating in federation activities. Many within the community believe these actions were intended to prevent certain members from exercising their right to vote during the elections.
There are also concerns that these decisions were made to influence the outcome of the election in favor of maintaining the existing leadership and preserving the influence of a small group within Ghana Judo. These concerns have been widely discussed among members of the Ghanaian judo community and have raised questions about the transparency and fairness of the electoral process.
Recently, a journalist interviewed a Ghanaian judoka and asked why so few people attended the federation election. According to those familiar with the situation, the reason was that many members who could have participated had already been suspended or removed from official platforms before the election took place.
If these concerns are accurate, they represent a serious threat to the principles of fairness, transparency, and democratic governance that the International Judo Federation promotes.
I respectfully ask the IJF to conduct an independent review of the circumstances surrounding the Ghana Judo Federation elections, including the suspensions, the removal of members from official communication platforms, and whether these actions affected members' ability to participate in the electoral process.
The Ghanaian judo community deserves a federation that is transparent, accountable, and inclusive. An impartial investigation would help restore confidence in the governance of judo in Ghana and ensure that the values of our sport are upheld.
Thank you for your attention to this important matter.
Sincerely,
A Concerned Member of the Ghana Judo Community

JUDO FOR THE WORLD β
I am writing to express serious concerns about the current state of judo in Ghana.
Are the IJF and the Olympic community aware of what is happening within the Ghana Judo Federation? Many members of the judo community are deeply concerned about the direction of the federation and its impact on the development of the sport.
From what many practitioners have observed, there are currently very few active judo clubs in the country. In fact, many believe that regular judo training is only available at Reformers Judo Club/BJJ in Accra. If this is incorrect, I respectfully ask the Ghana Judo Federation to publicly identify the active judo clubs and regional executives operating outside Accra.
I also call on the Ghana Olympic Committee and the Ministry responsible for Sports to provide transparency regarding the computers and other equipment reportedly allocated to the federation during the African Games. The judo community deserves to know how these resources have been used to develop the sport.
These concerns are not intended to attack individuals but to seek accountability, transparency, and renewed efforts to rebuild judo across all regions of Ghana. Many members of the judo community believe that the current leadership under Ken Arthur has overseen a significant decline in the sport's development, and they are calling for meaningful reforms that will restore opportunities for athletes, coaches, and clubs nationwide.
Judo in Ghana has great potential. It deserves strong leadership, transparency, and a commitment to developing the sport throughout the country, not just in one location.
I respectfully urge the IJF, the Ghana Olympic Committee, and the relevant authorities to investigate these concerns and engage with stakeholders to help revive judo in Ghana.
Thank you.
