Sometimes we pray, cry out to God, and wonder why He seems silent. We assume He hasn’t heard us, but what if the silence isn’t because He ignored us? What if He’s waiting for us to use what He’s already placed in our hands?

One of the best examples of this is Matthew 25:14–30, the Parable of the Talents. In the story, a master gave each servant resources according to their ability before leaving on a journey. Two servants put what they were given to work and multiplied it. The third servant, out of fear, buried his talent and did nothing with it.

When the master returned, he didn’t ask why the third servant wanted more. He asked what he had done with what he had already been given.

Sometimes we’re asking God for another opportunity, another blessing, or another miracle, while He’s asking us, “What have you done with the gifts, skills, opportunities, and time I’ve already given you?”

God has equipped each of us with something valuable. Our responsibility is to develop it, use it faithfully, and make the most of it.

Stop focusing on what you don’t have. Start using what you do have. You may discover that the answer to many of your prayers has been in your hands all along. Wishing you a great day 🙏🏽💙
