Last night, we were honoured to attend the Vin d’Honneur at the Royal Court House, where Guernsey’s 2026 Commonwealth Games Team was officially recognised and wished every success ahead of their journey to Glasgow later this month.

We're carrying out a mains gas conversion on a stunning custom-built LaCanche range cooker, specially configured by the homeowner to combine multiple cooking technologies in a single appliance.

This bespoke setup includes:
✅ 3 ovens
✅ Electric grill

✅ High-power gas wok burner

Most people – and even many architects and kitchen designers – don't realise that cookers like this exist. While all-gas and all-electric ranges are common, it's much less common to see a cooker that combines induction, gas and electric cooking in one beautifully engineered appliance.
