10 years qualified as an Equine Sports Massage Therapist - wow where has the time gone….

I decided to take the course to help my big horse the late Timmy (Ultimo) or Timothy John Staples to his close friends. I was fed up of no on Island therapist and the ability for much needed regular treatment for my horses. To see Timmy roll right over for the first time in years following a few treatments made me cry and made all the hard work and dedication worth it!

At the time I was stabled at Cobo Farm and Simone Renouf spent hours sat in the corner of the stable (in the freezing cold) testing me on muscle names and techniques to help me study.

Rex was my best and most willing guinea pig through the process always letting me know when I did a good job and released at all the right times. He was my biggest teacher so there was no one better to celebrate this milestone with then with my best supporter Rex with a free full body massage yesterday.

To say he enjoyed it was an understatement. Thanks always to Sim and Rex for helping me through my practice and get me through the exam.

Sorry I’ve been very poor in posting on this page but I will be posting more content going forward - including case studies and informative academy type posts so keep watching the page.
