Two years ago, I met him for the first time in Georgia. It was probably only for about 15 minutes. Back then, I was on the verge of giving up. I kept wondering if I should quit because of the stereotypes we still have in Georgia: “You’re a girl. You’ll never make it.”
Even though I had people who supported me, those negative words never really left me. Deep down, I was constantly facing the reality that I was just a girl who had started an MMA career from nothing, chasing what many believed were impossible dreams.
At that point, even the smallest spark of hope was enough to keep me going.
The only question I asked him was whether I still had a chance to succeed at my age.

His answer was:

“There is always an opportunity. The most important thing is to keep improving and never give up.”

So… I didn’t give up. 🤭✊😂🇬🇪

And now, I met him again—this time in America. 🇬🇪🌎🇺🇸

Yesterday I was there, today I’m here. That’s life.

If you work hard and refuse to give up, no one knows where you’ll be tomorrow. 🤣🌎🇬🇪🇺🇸

ორი წლის უკან პირველად საქართველოში ვნახე, ალბათ სულ 15 წუთით, მაშინ ზღვარზე ვიყავი, ვფიქრობდი იქნებ ჯობდეს შევეშვა, სწორედ იმ ქართული სტერეოტიპების გამო რაც საქართველოში გვაქვს ,,გოგო ხარ არაფერი გამოგივა’’…მიუხედავად იმისა, რომ მქონდა მხარდაჭერაც, ეს ნეგატიური ნასროლი სიტყვები არასდროს მანებებდა თავს და გარკვეულ წილად ყოველთვის ვეჯახებოდი რეალობას, რომ ვიყავი გოგო რომელმაც არსაიდან დაიწყო mma-ის კარიერა და ფუჭ იმედებს იქმნიდა. ამ დროს ჩემთვის პატარა ნაპერწკალიც კი იყო მიზეზი, არ დამენებებინა თავი.
ერთადერთი კითხვა რაც დავუსვი, მქონდა თუ არა ამ ასაკში შესაძლებლობა იმის, რომ წარმატებისთვის მიმეღწია, პასუხი -,,შესაძლებლობა ყოველთვის არის მთავარია განვითარდე და არ დანებდე…’’

ხოდა მეც არ დავნებდი🤭✊😂🇬🇪 და ამერიკაშიც შევხვდი🇬🇪🌎გუშინ იქ ვიყავი დღეს აქ ვარ, ასეთია ცხოვრება, თუ იშრომებ და არ დანებდები ხვალ სად იქნები კაცმა არ იცის🤣🌎🇬🇪🇺🇸
