Gudauri Edition: The Alpine Summit is a high-altitude technical stage located in one of Georgia’s most breathtaking mountain regions, on the southern slopes of the Greater Caucasus Range. The primary launch site is “Khizhina,” situated at an altitude of 2700 meters, surrounded by majestic peaks and glaciers. This location is renowned for its powerful alpine thermals, which not only allow for technically demanding flights over rugged terrain but also offer massive cross-country potential, with routes exceeding 100+ km frequently possible. The competition takes place in the end of August, when conditions in the high mountains are at their peak. Participating in this stage requires exceptional height management and endurance, offering pilots a unique “Peak Performance” experience in a raw, high-alpine environment.
