1XI – Thomas Cookson
Some things in life are certain: death, taxes (depending on which Ovington player you're talking about...) and Thomas Cookson being at the heart of the action every time he pulls on the CheckMyPet shirt.
A magnificent century wasn't quite enough despite Ovington posting a mammoth 253-7, with the side ultimately falling to a seven-wicket defeat.
2XI – Dick Buckley
With his side desperately trying to defend 200 and secure a vital 10 points in their battle to stay in the division, Dick produced one of those legendary 10-over spells.
His outstanding figures of 5-41 helped Ovington cling on to a dramatic two-run victory over York, with the game going right down to the final over.
3XI – Tom Reid & Sharoon Shahzad
The social media admin has returned from holiday and, for one week only, is breaking his own rules by naming two Players of the Match!
It's hard to separate these two after a breathtaking partnership. Tom Reid hit a century, scoring at a strike rate of 190, while Sharoon Shahzad blasted 71 from just 57 balls at a strike rate of 124.
Together they put on 145 runs, laying the platform for a huge total of 258, before the 3XI completed a superb 22-run victory.
