North Yorkshire Tennis club set in the outskirts of York. We are a very successful club with excellent facilities around us in the Sports Club complex.

We are a village based tennis club with four US Open coloured tarmacadam courts. Two of which are floodlit encouraging all year round play and coaching. Our coaching is led by Mark Hamilton, a very experienced LTA level four qualified coach.

Another exciting week of league tennis is ahead, with all of our teams back in action as the season continues to build towards its conclusion. 🎾

The week begins on Tuesday at 6:30pm, when our unbeaten Mixed 1st Team travel to Fulford 1 in what promises to be one of their toughest tests of the season. At the same time, our unbeaten Mixed 2nd Team host Wilberfoss 3, looking to continue their excellent run of form.

On Thursday evening our Mixed 3rd Team welcome Stamford Bridge to Dunnington as they aim to build on last week's impressive victory. Meanwhile, our Mixed 4th Team travel to Riccal for their latest away fixture.

The weekend gets underway on Saturday at 10:00am, when our Ladies 2nd Team travel to Appleton Roebuck 2 for their final league match of the season. They'll be looking to finish their campaign on a high.

On Sunday morning at 10:00am, our Men's Team travel to New Earswick hoping to continue their strong run of recent performances.

The week's action concludes on Sunday at 1:00pm, when our unbeaten Ladies 1st Team host Wilberfoss 1. This will be their final home match of the season, so if you're free, we'd love to see as many supporters as possible at the club to cheer them on one last time. They've enjoyed a fantastic campaign so far and your support could make all the difference as they continue their push for promotion. πŸ‘

This Week's Results 🎾

Another excellent week of tennis for the club, with five wins from six matches and some outstanding performances across our teams.

Tuesday got off to a flying start as our Mixed 1st Team continued their unbeaten season with a superb 69–39 away victory over Rowntree Park 1. At the same time, our Mixed 2nd Team delivered another dominant display, defeating Wetherby 3, 70–38 to keep their own unbeaten record intact. πŸ‘

On Thursday, our Mixed 3rd Team were back to winning ways with an impressive 70–38 victory over Poppleton 4. It was a fantastic team performance and a great response after their previous result. πŸ‘

Saturday saw another dominant display from our Ladies 1st Team, who travelled to David Lloyd 3 and secured a commanding 79–29 victory. They remain undefeated and continue to strengthen their push for promotion. πŸ‘

Sunday brought more success for the club as our Men's Team claimed an excellent 60–48 home win over York 5, continuing their strong second half of the season. Our Ladies 2nd Team battled hard against David Lloyd 4 but were unable to get the result on this occasion, 42–66. πŸ‘

A special mention goes to our Mixed 1st Team, Mixed 2nd Team, and Ladies 1st Team, who all remain undefeated this season and continue to set the standard with some exceptional tennis. πŸ”

This Week’s Fixtures 🎾

Another exciting week of league tennis is ahead, with six fixtures across our mixed, ladies’ and men’s teams as the season enters its final stretch.

The action begins on Tuesday at 6:30pm, when our unbeaten Mixed 1st Team travel to Rowntree Park 1 looking to continue their outstanding season and strengthen their promotion push. At the same time, our unbeaten Mixed 2nd Team host Wetherby 3 and will be aiming to keep their perfect record intact.

On Thursday evening, our Mixed 3rd Team return to home courts to take on Poppleton 4 as they look to get back to winning ways.

The weekend gets underway on Saturday at 2:00pm, with our undefeated Ladies 1st Team travelling to David Lloyd 3. They’ll be hoping to maintain their excellent form as they continue their push for promotion.

On Sunday morning at 10:00am, our Men’s Team welcome York 5 to Dunnington and will be looking to build on the positives from recent performances.

The week’s action concludes on Sunday at 1:00pm, when our Ladies 2nd Team host David Lloyd 4 and look to return to winning ways on home courts.

With three of our teams still unbeaten this season and promotion races heating up, it’s set to be another fantastic week of tennis. If you’re free, come along and support the teams, it always makes a difference!

Another busy week of league tennis is complete, with some fantastic performances and several impressive victories for our teams. 🎾

On Tuesday, our Mixed 2nd Team produced one of the performances of the season, travelling to Poppleton and recording a superb 89–19 victory. Meanwhile, our Mixed 4th Team put in another determined display at home against Bishopthorpe 3, narrowly missing out 44–64.

Thursday saw our Mixed 1st Team continue their outstanding unbeaten run with an excellent 68–40 away win over Poppleton 2. Our Mixed 3rd Team battled hard at home against Wetherby 3 but were unable to get the result on this occasion, 46–62.

On Saturday, our Ladies 2nd Team travelled to Pocklington for a closely contested match. Despite a strong effort throughout, they narrowly missed out 48–60.

Sunday brought mixed fortunes for our teams. Our Men's Team came up against league leader Riccal side away from home and despite plenty of effort, couldn't find a way into the match, 33–75.

The week finished on a high as our Ladies 1st Team produced another dominant performance, defeating Sutton on Derwent 1 by an impressive 85–23. They remain undefeated and continue their excellent push for promotion.

Congratulations to everyone who represented the club this week. A special mention goes to our Mixed 1st & 2nd Team, and our Ladies 1st Team, who all remain undefeated this season and continue to set the standard with some exceptional tennis. πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘

This weekend also marked our league's Pink Weekend, supporting Breast Cancer Now* It was fantastic to see so many players embracing the occasion by wearing pink and helping raise awareness for a charity that funds life-changing research, improves early diagnosis and treatment, and provides invaluable support to those affected by breast cancer. Thank you to everyone who got involved and helped make the weekend such a success. πŸŽ€

Finally, a huge thank you to all of our supporters who came along to cheer on the teams throughout the week. Your support is always appreciated and helps make Dunnington Tennis Club such a great club to be part of.

The week begins on Tuesday night, when our Mixed 2nd Team travel to Poppleton 4 looking to maintain their unbeaten record. At the same time, our Mixed 4th Team return to home courts to take on Bishopthorpe 3.

On Thursday evening, our unbeaten Mixed 1st Team travel to face Poppleton 2 as they continue their push for promotion. Meanwhile, our Mixed 3rd Team host Wetherby 3 and will be hoping to return to winning ways on home courts.

The weekend gets underway on Saturday at 9:30am, with our Ladies 2nd Team travelling to Pocklington 2 looking to bounce back after last week’s defeat.

On Sunday morning at 10:00am, our Men’s Team travel to Riccal aiming to build on their excellent win last weekend and continue their recent run of form.

The week’s fixtures conclude on Sunday at 1:00pm, when our unbeaten Ladies 1st Team host Sutton on Derwent. They’ll be looking to extend their impressive winning run and keep their promotion hopes firmly on track.

This Week's Results 🎾

Another fantastic week for the club, with four wins from five completed matches and some outstanding performances across our teams.

Unfortunately, Tuesday's fixture between our Mixed 2nd and 3rd Team had to be postponed due to the extreme heat and will now be played in August.

On Thursday, our Mixed 1st Team continued their exceptional season with a dominant 70–38 victory over Bubwith. They remain undefeated and continue to strengthen their position in the promotion race.

Also on Thursday, our Mixed 4th Team secured a brilliant 57–51 away win against Rufforth 4. Congratulations to the team on another excellent result and a well-deserved victory.

Saturday saw another outstanding display from our Ladies 1st Team, who travelled to Riccal and came away with a commanding 79–29 win. They remain unbeaten this season and continue to lead the way as they push for promotion.

On Sunday morning, our Men's Team got back to winning ways with a hard-fought 57–51 away win over Bishopthorpe 1. It was another excellent team performance and a great way to bounce back after last week's defeat.

Our Ladies 2nd Team battled hard at home against Boston Spa 3 but were unable to come away with the result on this occasion. They'll be looking to put this behind them and return to winning ways in their next fixture, 49-59.

A huge congratulations to everyone who represented the club this week. It's fantastic to see our Mixed 1st Team and Ladies 1st Team continuing their unbeaten seasons, while several of our other teams are putting together some excellent performances as we head into the second half of the campaign. πŸ‘

Another busy week lies ahead for the club, with league action across our mixed, ladies, and men's teams as the season continues to gather momentum.

The action begins on Tuesday at 6:30pm, with a unique fixture as our Mixed 2nd Team take on our Mixed 3rd Team. While there will be plenty of friendly rivalry on court, both teams will be looking to put in a strong performance before returning to being teammates once the final ball has been hit!

On Thursday evening, our unbeaten Mixed 1st Team host Bubwith as they continue their push for promotion and look to maintain their excellent record. At the same time, our Mixed 4th Team travel to Rufforth for their latest away fixture.

The weekend gets underway on Saturday at 9:30am, when our undefeated Ladies 1st Team travel to Riccal. Having enjoyed an outstanding season so far, they'll be looking to keep their winning run going.

This Week's Results 🎾

Another week of league tennis is in the books, with some excellent performances from our teams and several important victories as the season heads towards its second half.

The week began on Monday with our Mixed 1st Team continuing their outstanding season, securing a 61–47 victory away at York 4. They remain undefeated and firmly in the hunt for promotion.

Unfortunately, Tuesday's fixture between our Mixed 4th Team and Tadcaster was postponed and will be rearranged for a later date.

On Wednesday, our Mixed 2nd Team maintained their unbeaten record with another impressive away win, defeating Sutton on Derwent 3 by 64–44. Their consistency throughout the season continues to be a real highlight.

Saturday saw our Ladies 2nd Team travel to York 4. Despite a determined effort, they came up against a strong side and were unable to secure the result on this occasion., 66-42.

On Sunday morning, our Men's Team travelled to Wigginton 4. Although they showed plenty of fight and had some strong moments throughout the match, it wasn't their day on this occasion. Their winning streak may have come to an end, but with the second half of the season ahead, they'll be looking to regroup, build on the positives, and get back to winning ways, 59-49.

The week finished on a high as our Ladies 1st Team produced another excellent performance, defeating Fulford 3 by 66–42 at home. They remain undefeated and continue to strengthen their push for promotion.

Despite the weather causing a few disruptions, it has been another successful week for the club, with four wins from five completed matches and some fantastic performances across our teams.

Unfortunately, Thursday's fixtures involving our Mixed 1st Team and Mixed 4th Team were postponed due to the rain and will be rearranged for a later date.

On Tuesday, our Mixed 2nd Team delivered another dominant performance at home, defeating Stamford Bridge 74–34. They remain undefeated and continue to impress week after week.

Our Mixed 3rd Team were unable to extend their winning run on Wednesday, losing 48–60 away to Sutton on Derwent 3. Every team has the occasional dip in form, and we're confident they'll bounce back and return to winning ways soon.

Saturday saw our Ladies 1st Team continue their remarkable season with another excellent result, winning 57–51 away at Tollerton. They remain undefeated and continue to push for promotion.

On Sunday morning, our Men's Team secured another impressive victory, beating Wistow 62–46 at home and continuing their strong run of form.

The biggest win of the week came from our Ladies 2nd Team, who bounced back brilliantly from a couple of difficult results with a commanding 84–24 victory over Copmanthorpe 2. A fantastic response and thoroughly deserved reward for their efforts.

Congratulations to everyone who represented the club this week. Our teams continue to perform exceptionally well, with both the Mixed 2nd Team and Ladies 1st Team maintaining their unbeaten records.
