🏆⭐️ Yorkshire Cricket Foundation Award Winner ⭐️🏆

Starting the week with some fantastic news!

We were delighted to hear that Jon has been named as the winner in the Yorkshire Cricket Foundation Cricket Collective Awards for the Newcomer of the Year 2026.

The award presented to “An individual who has recently stepped into the world of cricket volunteering and made an immediate, positive impact. Whether through fresh ideas, infectious enthusiasm, or a willingness to go above and beyond, this person has quickly become an integral part of their club or community.”

YCF have also nominated Jon for the National Cricket Collective Awards organised by the ECB.

I’m sure you’ll all agree the award is well deserved by Jon for all the hard work put in with the juniors this year!

This weeks fixture see us travel to West Tanfield for the penultimate game of the season.

We had a fried chicken 🍗 burger and chips 🍟 cricket tea last week, followed by a Take away Toastie wagon on offer after the game this week 🥪!! Yorkshire Cricket at its finest!

⚡️ It was absolutely rocking here in Bingley yesterday evening. Spectacular rainfall, thunder and lightning. Quite a few fixture casualties over the weekend due to weather.
