Sunday was our annual Regatta with Yorkshire Ouse Sailing Club, this year's hosts, and what a day it was!

YOSC were as ever so welcoming and friendly, with a great spread put on for lunch, we had a brilliant time.

We managed to experience pretty much every type of weather imaginable - all in the same day!

From drifting downstream with hardly a breath of wind, to flying along with water coming over the gunwales, it certainly kept us entertained. And then, to finish the day, we had a fantastic downwind run all the way home. 🌬️⛵

Great company, sailing and fun. An wonderful day out.

A huge thank you to YOSC for hosting us. 👏

Last Wednesday evening on the river!

Some very fluky easterly winds.
Holly's first trip out on a single hander, and Tim's Enterprise is going well with the new centre board!

Looking forward to our annual Regatta with YOSC on the 6th at Naburn, but in the meantime hopefully the conditions will be kind for a sail on Sunday. ⛵

A bit late posting from Wednesday’s sail.

Three boats on the water, with amazing light and reflections after the eclipse - but very little wind! There was some skilful handling needed to keep things moving!

It was also Tim’s first trip out in his Enterprise, ably crewed by Holly.

I’m not sure our photographer saw any paddles being used… 😉⛵

The summer holidays have been taking lots of us away from the River Ouse... but not away from sailing! 🌞⛵

Here's one of our GP14s enjoying a holiday of its own in beautiful, sunny Northumberland this week. Wherever you're spending the summer, we hope you're finding time to get out on the water somewhere!

We can't wait to see everyone back on the river in August! 💙
