Only 22 players for our Open Round Robin held on Saturday, but a fantastic standard of darts.

Your winner on the day was Paul Bulmer, who beat Reece Robinson 5 - 4. All legs went with throw with Paul managing to break in the very last leg. Paul averaging 81.86 with 2 x 180s and Reece 87.04 with 3 x 180s.

Your losing semi finalists were Graham Elvidge and Shaun Rutter and losing quarter finalists Aaron Holdstock, Jake Sanderson, Phil Hoggarth and Andy Harland.

Our next event is our final one of the year and we have 2 different competitions. Firstly, on Friday 23rd October, we have a pairs knockout. £5 per player entry and £100 added to the prize pot. This is not an ADC event, so entries will be taken on the night and will only be published on Facebook. Registration will close at 7.45pm, for an 8pm start.

Competition details for the Saturday event will follow in the coming days and this will be an ADC affiliated event.

Despite current low numbers, our Open Knockout on Saturday at Huntington WMC will definitely go ahead. There will also be a blind pairs after the main event.

£8 entry fee and you register via the link below. Prize money on the day will be adjusted but we will guarantee a minimum of £300 payout, the more entries, the higher this will go.

Morning all, just a reminder that our penultimate event of 2026 takes place next Saturday 12th September at Huntington WMC.

This is an Open Knockout and open to players of all ages and abilities. Register on the link below and pay the £8 entry fee on the day.

There will be a blind pairs after the main event. Numbers are low currently, so if you have never been to one of our events or you are a regular attendee, come down and have a great day of darts.

Payout of £600 guaranteed if there are 48 entries or more. Doors open 10.30 and the bar at 11.00am. Registration closes at 12.30pm.

The next YDP event takes place on Saturday 12th September at Huntington WMC and is a straight knockoit, open to all players of all ages and abilities.

This event is our penultimate one for 2026 and the entry fee is £8 per player. You must register on Darts Atlas and you can pay the entry fee on the day. This event is limited to 128 players.

Payout will be £600 on the day, based on a minimum of 48 entries and if over 64 entries, more prize money will be added. We will also run a blind pairs after the main event, time dependant.

The format will be the best of 7 legs, up to the final, which will then be best of 9.

Evening all, still 3 events for us in 2026, but already we are looking forward to 2027.

YDP has been running for 15 years now and this is only made possible by the hundreds of players who have entered competitions and also by our very kind sponsors.

We have availability for 2 main board sponsors and 2 board sponsors for our Youth and Ladies boards.

Board sponsors get their logo on every one of our Facebook posts and event reviews, as well as a board of their design attached to a main dartboard at each event, which will be a minimum of 11 next year.

With that in mind, if you have a business and want to get advertised, then please contact us. We have rates for 1 and 2 year sponsorship, and can also guarantee your sign will be used on the remaining 3 events for this year, free of charge, if we receive your design before the end of August.

We also have 2 additional board sponsor opportunities for our Youth and Ladies boards, which are guaranteed to be displayed at a minimum of 6 events in 2027.

Sam Spivey was crowned YDP Open Round Robin champion sponsored by York Dart Shop UK - Last Dart Standing with an impressive 4–1 victory over Adi Morris in the best-of-seven final. Spivey averaged 79.31 in the decider, capping off a superb tournament that included a sensational 102.48 average in his 3–0 semi-final win over Matthew Pemberton.
Sam also had a 107.36 avg in his group stage game against Kurtis Radford.

Morris reached the final with solid performances throughout, defeating Vinny Gothard 3–0 in the quarter-finals before overcoming Sammy Surgenor 3–1 in the semi-finals, averaging just over 73 in both matches.

The quarter-finals saw Surgenor beat Stanley Smithson 3–1, Spivey defeat Andy Harland 3–1 despite Harland’s strong 85.98 average, and Pemberton progress with a 3–1 win over Kurtis Radford.

Highest checkout on the day was Sammy Surgenor with a 170.

Spivey proved to be the standout performer of the event, producing the tournament’s highest average and finishing in style to deservedly take the title.
