📅 Moonlight Charity Swim 2026! Saturday 22nd August 2026 from 6pm 📅 Cosmic are not running their Moonlight swim held at Allerthorpe this year, but the evenings are so wonderful that the Allerthorpe team have decided to run a charity evening of our choice - 'Swim a Mile for MND'! ✨🌝

This cause is incredibly close to our hearts at Allerthorpe Lakeland Park, and all money raised helps speed up research to slow down Motor Neurone Disease (MND).

📍Details:

▪️Date: Saturday 22nd August 2026
▪️Gates Open: 6pm
▪️Swim Starts: 7:30pm until 9.30pm
▪️Location: Allerthorpe Lakeland Park
▪️Tickets: £15 per swimmer (+ booking fee applied by the ticket platform)
▪️Age: Any swimmers under the age of must be supervised by an adult in the water.

Whether you're swimming the full mile (4 laps of the lake) or simply taking part to show your support, we'd love to see you there.

The distance is just part of the day – the real goal is to raise awareness, support one another, and make a difference.

🎶🍕 We have DJ CraigB joining us to provide music throughout the evening, and the Lakeside Café will be open for food.

👥 Bring your family and friends to support you (donations gratefully received), and enjoy a fabulous evening by the lake.

🛟 For everyone's safety, all swimmers must wear a brightly coloured swim cap and/or use a tow float. Lights are also strongly recommended where appropriate as we are dependent on daylight for our safety team. Please note that entry to the water will not be permitted without the required safety equipment.

💦☀️Aqua Park 4pm sessions THIS WEEK! ⏰ It's nearly the school holidays so we have put on extra sessions for this week:

📍Tuesday 14th, Wednesday 15th & Thursday 16th July: 4:00 PM
📍 Friday 17th July: 4:15 PM

Details: Sessions last 50 minute. Cost £22.00 per person. Minimum age is 8yrs. All participants must be able to swim 25 metres. All participants must be over 1.2m tall. A buoyancy aid and helmet is included in the activity price and must be worn. Wetsuits provided if required.

We are absolutely delighted that Allerthorpe Lakeland Park will once again be a main refreshment stop for the spectacular Golden Era Run! ☕

📍On Sunday 26th July, these incredible vintage and veteran motorcycles and three-wheelers will be rolling onto the park grounds at approximately 11:00 AM!

If you're visiting us that morning, make sure to head over to the lakeside, enjoy the view, and take a stroll down memory lane to see some living motoring history up close!
