York RI Womens is a friendly Women's Rugby Union team based in York. We are still developing and are always on the lookout for new members. Rugby is a great way to get fit, and at York RI it doesn't matter if you have never touched a rugby ball before or have played for years. Training is on Tuesday's, 7pm at York RI Rugby Club. There is also a thriving social side to the club, with regular events

🏆END OF SEASON🏆
Even though our season may have ended prematurely, there was still plenty to celebrate at our annual awards night!
Even though only some individuals went home with an award, it doesn’t take away the effort, passion and dedication from every other player that has pulled on an RI jersey.
Committee have worked their socks off behind the scenes, and all deserve an award of their own.
A special mention to Ruth Whitehead, who deservedly has been belatedly awarded the 24/25 Clubman of the year.

Have you missed us? Sorry we’ve been quiet….
We haven’t ended the season how we would have liked. We’ve been plagued with injuries, and just haven’t been able to fulfil the fixtures that we had left.
HOWEVER, do not despair!!!
We plan on finishing our season how we always planned - with a fun old game, and a biiiig social to round off the day🍻
