I’ve been teaching Pilates for just over 8 years now, and if there’s one thing I’ve learnt, it’s that you never stop learning.
Your qualification isn’t the end of your education. It’s the beginning.
Workshops, continued education, topping up qualifications, refreshing your knowledge and keeping up with new research are all such an important part of being a good teacher.
Because what you learnt 8 years ago isn’t necessarily what you should be teaching today.
Pilates and Yoga has evolved. Fitness and exercise science has evolved. New research comes out, our understanding changes, and the way we approach movement continues to develop.
I think it’s important to stay curious, question what you’ve always been taught and be willing to adapt. Just because something has always been done a certain way doesn’t mean it’s the best way to do it now.
Continuing education isn’t about collecting certificates - it’s about becoming a better teacher, understanding the body better and making sure the people who trust me with their movement are getting the best, most up-to-date information I can give them.
Thank you so much Dan O’Brien for sharing your knowledge with us and thank you Holly Puddephatt for organising 🖤

A client recently asked me to create a 6-week recovery plan for the first six weeks after her C-section with guidance on what she could be doing at each stage, plus videos she could follow along with.
It made me realise just how many new mums could benefit from having a little more guidance, structure and support during those early weeks of recovery 🤍
So, I’ve decided to make my 6-Week C-Section Recovery Plan available to anyone who feels they’d like a little extra support through those first six weeks.
It’s designed to help you understand what you can be doing at each stage, with gentle movement and follow-along videos to support your recovery.
Available for a small one-off fee.
If you’re currently pregnant, newly postpartum, or know someone who might benefit, DM for more information 🤍

Something I’m so excited to finally offer…
6-WEEK C-SECTION RECOVERY PLAN 🤍
A 6-week recovery programme designed to support you through those first weeks after a C-section - with guidance, gentle movement and plenty of support along the way.
📖 Week-by-week recovery guide
From rest, breathing and gentle reconnection through to mobility, core, pelvic floor, stability and strengthening - plus practical tips for everyday movements and scar desensitisation.
🎥 Private Instagram access
Follow-along videos you can do from home, progressing gently throughout the six weeks.
💬 Direct support from me
Message me throughout your six weeks with any questions or worries.
🤍 Progress without pressure
This isn’t about rushing back to exercise. It’s about gradually rebuilding strength, confidence and connection with your body while giving yourself time to heal.
As a qualified Pilates & Yoga teacher with pre and postnatal training, and someone who had my own C-section 7 months ago, I understand how much your body can change and how many questions you can have afterwards.
Every recovery is different. Some days you’ll move, other days you’ll just cuddle your baby on the sofa all day - both are okay🤍
If you’re planning a C-section or have recently had one and would like extra guidance and support, comment ‘REBUILD’ and I’ll DM you more details.
This is a gentle movement and wellbeing programme and does not replace individual medical advice or clearance from your healthcare professional.
