Sunny Saturday run at Melbourne Raceway

What a great weekend at Melbourne! With both American SuperStock and Nostalgia SuperStock classes running, Boz managed 10 runs on the Saturday. Unfortunately this finished off our slicks and with no spares, we borrowed street tyres from Craig Elliott ( Many thanks Team Elliott🙏). Hence this smoky burnout followed by a nice set of 11’s down the track…..😂

We’re sad to hear of the passing of Ben Jones, the actor who played the part of ‘Crazy Cooter’ in the original Dukes of Hazard’ TV series. We were lucky enough to meet the man himself in 2000 on a trip to the States, at Cooters Place in Sperryville, Virginia. He couldn’t have been more friendly and was undoubtedly the man who set Boz off on the slippery slope when he allowed him to climb into the General Lee and ‘just fire her up, son!’. Rest in peace, Ben.
