🩰ROYAL BALLET JUNIOR ASSOCIATES🩰

We are absolutely delighted for our lovely Evelyn, aged 10, who has successfully auditioned for the Royal Ballet School Junior Associate Programme and has been offered a place to train in person in Cardiff this year! ✨

Evelyn spent last year as a Junior Associate, working online with the Royal Ballet School’s specialist faculty. She loved the experience and worked incredibly hard, so we were thrilled when she successfully auditioned to continue her training this year.

The Junior Associate Programme will give Evelyn the opportunity to enjoy additional high-quality classical ballet training, developing her technique, musicality, strength, coordination and artistry, while dancing alongside other young dancers who share her love of ballet.

It is a wonderful addition to the training she already receives at TDF, alongside her regular ballet classes and Ballet Boost Associate training.

Watching our students discover opportunities, challenge themselves and find their own paths in dance is one of the things we love most about what we do. And to see Evelyn, at just 10 years old, taking this next step is very special indeed.

Evelyn, we are all so proud of you. Your hard work, enthusiasm and love of ballet shine through, and we can’t wait to see you enjoy this next chapter. We will be cheering you on every step of the way! 🩰💙✨

✨ Ballet Theatre UK Associates! ✨

We are incredibly proud of our talented Ruby, aged 16, who has successfully auditioned for a second year with the BTUK Associates! 🩰🌟

Ruby completed a full year of Associate training with BTUK last year, giving her the opportunity to supplement her training at TDF with additional high-level classical ballet training and work alongside talented young dancers who share her passion and ambition.

Following her first successful year, Ruby was once again successful in the audition process and has secured her place for a second year on the BTUK Associate Programme, a fantastic achievement and recognition of her continued hard work, commitment and potential as a dancer.

Ruby was also successful in auditioning for a full-time place at the School of BTUK. Although she has chosen not to take up the full-time place, we are delighted that she will continue her Associate training alongside her regular classes at TDF.

This combination of training is a fantastic opportunity for Ruby. She can continue to develop her classical technique, strength, musicality, artistry and performance quality through BTUK, while continuing to train, perform and grow as a dancer within the TDF family.

At TDF, we are passionate about supporting our students to find opportunities that complement their training and help them progress towards their individual goals. We are particularly proud to see Ruby taking this next step while remaining committed to her regular training with us.

Ruby, you should be incredibly proud of this achievement. 💙

🌟 A HUGE WELL DONE TO LYLA! 🌟

We are incredibly proud of our talented student Lyla, aged 14, who has successfully auditioned for and secured a place with Elite Dance Associates! 🎉✨

Elite Associates is a prestigious monthly training programme curated by Acosta Dance Centre and Ryan Jenkins, designed to support talented young dancers in reaching their full potential and taking their training to the next level.

Lyla will have the exciting opportunity to train alongside other talented young dancers with some of the UK’s top instructors, developing her skills across both Ballet and Contemporary. The programme provides high-level training, inspiration and opportunities for dancers to challenge themselves, grow in confidence and continue developing their artistry and technique.

What a fantastic achievement Lyla! 💙

We know how much dedication, hard work and passion you put into your dancing, and it is wonderful to see those qualities being recognised. We are so proud of you and everything you continue to achieve.

🤸‍♀️✨ CELEBRATING OUR ACROBATIC ARTS ACHIEVEMENTS! ✨🤸‍♂️

Yesterday, we had another very special reason to celebrate at TDF as our Acrobatic Arts students were awarded new levels of achievement following their recent assessments and the completion of their individual progress cards. 💙

Over recent months, our acro dancers have worked incredibly hard to develop their strength, flexibility, balance, control, technique and confidence, with each dancer working towards their own individual goals and progressing through their Acrobatic Arts journey.

Their individual progress cards celebrate the skills they have achieved, the progress they have made and the dedication they have shown along the way. 🌟

We are so incredibly proud of every single dancer. Every level awarded represents hard work, determination, perseverance and a willingness to keep challenging themselves — even when a new skill feels difficult.

One of the most rewarding parts of teaching is watching our dancers achieve something they have worked towards, seeing their confidence grow and witnessing that wonderful moment when they realise “I can do it!” 💙

A huge well done to all of our Acrobatic Arts dancers. You have worked brilliantly and should be incredibly proud of your achievements! 👏

We are also incredibly proud of the high-quality Acrobatic Arts training offered at TDF, with our fantastic teachers supporting each dancer to progress safely, confidently and at their own individual pace.

🌟 CELEBRATING OUR RAD BALLET EXAM SUCCESS! 🌟

Today at TDF, we had the absolute pleasure of celebrating our wonderful ballet dancers as they received their Royal Academy of Dance examination certificates at our special presentation. 🩰✨

Our dancers took their ballet examinations back in July, following weeks and months of dedicated preparation, hard work and commitment. Today was the perfect opportunity to recognise just how much effort each and every dancer has put into their training — and what an incredible achievement it has been! 💙

From Pre-Primary Ballet through to Grade 6, alongside our Vocational Intermediate Foundation examination, we are incredibly proud to announce a 100% pass rate across all of our examinations! 🎉👏

Every certificate represents something different for each dancer — hours in the studio, perseverance when things felt challenging, concentration, determination and the courage to step into that examination room and give it their very best.

We are particularly thrilled to celebrate Sophie Read, who was awarded High Distinction for Grade 6, and Payton Tavener, who achieved High Distinction for Grade 5 — the highest accolade awarded within the RAD grading system. 🌟🩰

What makes us especially proud, however, is every single one of our dancers. Whether this was their very first ballet examination or another step along their vocational journey, each result is a reflection of their own individual hard work, progress and achievement. We hope every dancer feels incredibly proud of themselves today — because you should! 💙

And today felt particularly special for us personally. There was once a time when it was Laura and Stephanie standing in this very position, proudly receiving our own ballet examination certificates. To now have the privilege of standing here as teachers and watching our own students receive their results and celebrate their achievements is something incredibly special. 🥹🩰

It is a wonderful reminder of why we do what we do — to pass on our knowledge, experience and love of dance to the next generation of dancers and to watch them grow, develop and achieve things they may once have only dreamed of.

Behind every successful examination is exceptional teaching, dedicated teachers and a training environment where dancers are encouraged to strive for their personal best. We are incredibly proud of the outstanding ballet training offered here at The Dance Factory, and hugely grateful to our fantastic teachers for the knowledge, passion, care and expertise they bring into the studio every week.

At TDF, we believe in developing strong, confident and well-trained dancers, whilst nurturing a genuine love of dance that will stay with them throughout their journey.

A very special TDF adventure begins! 🧸

A huge well done to Jasmina, who has been chosen as the FIRST TDF dancer to take one of our brand-new TDF bears home! 🌟

After some very important bear decision-making, Jasmina chose Topsie to be her special companion for the week! 🐻✨

Topsie will be joining Jasmina on her adventures, making memories and no doubt getting up to a little bit of mischief along the way! 😍 We can’t wait to hear all about their adventures when Jasmina brings Topsie back to class on Saturday.

Jasmina has been selected for her lovely dancing, hard work and wonderful attitude — and we hope this little reward makes her feel extra proud! 💙

We wonder where Topsie will go first… 👀🐻✨
