Feeling stuck in a rut with your fitness… but not really knowing how to get out of it?

That’s exactly where Sam was before joining Unity.

She knew she wanted to get fitter, feel better and start making some changes — she just didn’t know where to start.

She’d tried big gyms before but felt lost and intimidated.

She’d tried fitness classes too, but found herself being pushed at 100% and leaving feeling completely broken.

What Sam needed was something different.

Something more personal. More supportive. More tailored to her.

And that’s exactly what she found at Unity 🖤💛

The individual coaching and guidance she needed, combined with the social side of training alongside a small group of people — having a laugh, supporting each other and actually enjoying coming to the gym.

Fast forward to today and Sam is so much fitter, has more energy and, most importantly, has got her confidence and motivation back to start prioritising herself again 💪

She’s loved her experience at Unity so much that she even convinced her husband to join — and he’s now getting fantastic results too!

And to top it all off…

Sam has recently hit her 1 YEAR milestone of consistent training at Unity 🎉

That’s what we’re most proud of.

Not a quick fix.

Not smashing yourself for a few weeks and giving up.

Finding a way of training that works for you, building confidence and becoming someone who consistently looks after their health and fitness.

It never gets any easier… 😂🎥

Recording videos in public, that is.

Me & Coach Grace have been out around Yarm today filming our new September campaign for our 6 Week Longevity Programme.

We got a few funny looks walking around with the camera…

We even managed to bump into one of our members who missed her session yesterday.

(Cough cough, Katherine 👀😂)

No escaping your coaches!

But for many of our members, seeing one of our videos is where their transformation began.

And hopefully, one of the videos we recorded today will be the start of someone else’s journey too. 💛

When are you going to start looking after YOU? 🫵

You know you need to make some changes.

You want to feel fitter, stronger and healthier again.

But when you haven’t exercised for such a long time, walking into a new gym can feel pretty daunting.

That’s exactly how Mark felt before joining Unity.

He knew he hadn’t been looking after himself and that something needed to change — but he was nervous about taking that first step.

July Unity Social at The Derry Long Newton🍻

A big thank you to everyone who came along last night and to The Derry for looking after us in their fantastic beer garden.

It’s great to see everyone getting together outside the gym, having a laugh and building the amazing community we’ve created at Unity.

Safe to say there are a few sore heads this morning… but it was definitely worth it! 😁

Sleeping better. More energy. Stronger and toned 💪

Before joining Unity, Louise was running on empty.

❌ Poor sleep

❌ Low energy at work

❌ Feeling uncomfortable in her clothes

She knew something had to change.

After previous bad experiences with gyms, she was understandably nervous about starting again…

But she took the plunge and joined Unity.

Fast forward 6 weeks…

✅ She’s sleeping better.

✅ She’s stronger and more toned.

✅ Her energy is back.

✅ And, in her own words, “I just feel human again.”

Total Warrior 2026: Stronger In Unity 💪💛🖤

📆 Our June Monthly Social Event

Was one of the highlights of the year so far!

Watching our members overcome obstacles that the old version of themselves would never have attempted.

Supporting one another jumping through flames.

Pulling each other through the mud.

Flying down giant slides.

And taking the leap of faith into ice-cold water…

(None of which we managed to get on camera btw!😅)

But it wasn’t about who finished first.

It was about showing up, stepping outside your comfort zone and proving to yourself that you’re capable of more than you think.

It was an incredible day and we’re so proud of everyone who took part.

We’ll absolutely be back in 2027. 💪

And if you’re reading this thinking, “I’d love to give that a go one day…”

We’d love to have you on the Unity team next year.

Well done everyone…

🪫 Are you a dad running on empty and tired of feeling the aches and pains?

Maybe you’ve gained weight around your middle, your energy has disappeared and you don’t quite feel like yourself anymore.

If that sounds familiar, this post is for you.

Between work, family responsibilities, sleepless nights and trying to be everything for everyone else, it’s easy for your own health to end up at the bottom of the priority list.

That was exactly where Dan found himself before joining Unity.

After welcoming his newborn daughter, he was exhausted. The extra weight he’d gained meant his knees hurt walking up the stairs, and he knew something had to change if he wanted to be the dad and husband his family deserved.

Like many people, he’d tried gyms before.

He’d been thrown into big classes, felt like just another number, received very little support, and the results never lasted.

What surprised Dan most about Unity wasn’t just the training – it was the coaching and community.

Our coaches make sure he’s using the right technique, keep him accountable, encourage him every step of the way, and help him make consistent progress week after week.

He also trains alongside like-minded men who push each other to improve and celebrate every win together.

The result?

✅ More energy for his two daughters.
✅ More drive at work.
✅ More quality time with his wife.
✅ Serious strength gains.
✅ And a dad bod that’s changing shape, with those once-snug T-shirts fitting comfortably again.
