⚽️⚽️ This weekend we welcome Denbigh Wanderers to Gresford Colliery Sports & Social Club. Come on down sunday 2pm KO and support the lads, where we hope to continue the form we started the season with.

Its been a while since we last played this team, so will be interesting to see if they have made improvements. ⚽️⚽️

Well the 1st game of the new season is now done and dusted. And what a game it was.

We knew playing White Bear FC would be a close game, as it always has between us the last couple of seasons, but we managed to get 3 points on the board in the end. A great display of teamwork brought it home for us.

Well it's finally here and after some to-ing and fro-ing we do indeed start the 26/27 campaign at home!

We welcome Gresford Colliery Vets to Mancot Lane in the Division 2 opener. Gresford are no strangers to us having been with us in the league the last 2 seasons and we're a step on our way to the veterans cup Semi Final in 24/25.

Our record against them in the league is actually played 4, won 2 lost 2 (Bear lead by one goal on goal difference) which means 2 evenly matched teams and a great game in prospect. Its going to be 19 degrees in the sunshine with a gentle breeze so perfect conditions to get yourselves down to support the lads.

Don't forget it's pints afterwards at The White Bear with Cheeky Pig running their BBQ Tent.

One of our own is fighting the battle of his life! renowned for loving a battle on the pitch stew faces another battle this time probably the biggest battle anyone can face . Not one’s to turn challenges down the old school Sunday league lads are getting behind stew and organising a charity match in aid of stew . Let’s get behind this fantastic cause and get yourselves down to Lex FC 20th September for what should be a great day of football
