Unfortunately, last night’s fixture against Ruabon Rovers FC had to be abandoned after 32 minutes following a serious ankle injury to Bellevue goalkeeper Donnie.

Everyone at Bellevue wishes Donnie a speedy recovery, and we hope to see him back between the sticks when the time is right.

We would also like to thank Ruabon Rovers FC for reaching out and showing their concern following the incident. It is greatly appreciated by everyone at the club.

The fixture has now been rescheduled for the 1st September.

Defeat on the road for the men’s team as Johnstown YFC claimed the three points with a 4–1 victory.

The hosts made a quick start, opening the scoring after just 3 minutes, but Bellevue responded almost immediately. On his Bellevue debut, Oiediran R wasted no time making an impact, finding the net on 5 minutes to bring the game level at 1–1.

Johnstown restored their advantage on 23 minutes before adding a third on 43 minutes to take a 3–1 lead into the break.

Bellevue looked for a way back into the game in the second half, but Johnstown added their fourth on 59 minutes to round off the scoring.

Next up: We finally return to Court Road for our first home fixture of the 2026/27 season as we welcome Ruabon Rovers FC on Wednesday 26th August.

Due to Ruabon Rovers FC being drawn in the second round of the NEWFA Men’s Senior Challenge Cup, this Saturday’s North East Wales Trophy fixture at Court Road has been postponed.

A new date for the fixture will be confirmed in due course.

Our attention now turns to our next fixture on Saturday 22nd August, when the men’s team travel to face Johnstown YFC.

We wish Ruabon Rovers all the best in their cup fixture.
