IMPORTANT CUSTOMER UPDATE

We wanted to keep all of our clients and families updated regarding the proposed Morgan & Morecambe windfarm transmission infrastructure, which includes works proposed close to Wrea Green Equitation Centre.

The Secretary of State’s current decision deadline is Monday 14 September 2026, so we are expecting further information very shortly.

At this stage, nothing has changed to our lessons, courses or usual operations and all of our sessions continue as normal.

We are closely monitoring the situation and will keep our clients updated as soon as there is any official news that may affect the centre, our facilities or our services.

We understand that some of our clients may have concerns, particularly regarding the potential impact of the proposed works on the centre and our horses. Please be assured that we are continuing to do everything we can to protect the future of the centre and the services we provide to our riders.

Chris and Mike thank everyone for supporting Phoebe and her family at her presentation last week for her national young equestrian leaders award , as always we continue to further everyone’s careers and qualifications in the equestrian world. Thankyou Cannon Godfrey, Ikram , the Lytham Posy Bowl for the beautiful flowers and decorated horse shoe presented to the Deputy lieutenant of Lancashire -Caroline , Dizzy Ducks of Wrea Green for the afternoon tea and official representatives of the Pony Club; John, Hilary and Carol and rider representatives Hilary and Yasmin. Not forgetting our professional photographer who snapped all day through rain and shine , but mainly to our fantastic team of Kristy and Coaches and of course horses and ponies, who support us on a daily basis . We are delighted to welcome back our existing working pupils and to welcome a number of new pupils as we begin the autumn term.

We offer a diverse range of riding courses and lessons, supporting both able and disabled riders through group sessions, working pupils , college programmes and specialist 1:1 tuition.

Our timetable is already very busy, and we are looking forward to a fantastic new term. Once our September schedule is fully established, we will release any remaining availability for evening and weekend sessions.

We look forward to continuing to support our riders and YP in developing their skills, confidence and enjoyment of riding throughout the year.
