Friends of Cripplegate Park

This page is managed by the Friends of Cripplegate Park volunteers. Children’s play area, tennis courts and bowling greens make this park multi-functional.

The Friends of Cripplegate Park help promote and maintain the use of the park and hold events throughout the year for the benefit of local residents and tourists. Cripplegate Park is located to the west of the city on New Road opposite the County Cricket ground. The park has a diverse range of features, including a formal arrangement of flower beds, shrub rows, annual bedding, mature trees and open space grassed areas, set out in a traditional style.
