✨ And that’s two fabulous weeks of Summer Schools complete! ✨

What a way to finish today with our amazing Performance Lab display! We absolutely loved watching everything the students have been working on throughout the week and seeing it all come together. 💗

A huge thank you to our amazing team who have made the last couple of weeks so special, the wonderful Miss Chloe, Miss Charlotte, Miss Ruby and Miss Ada, as well as our brilliant student teachers and assistants, Miss Ruby D, Miss Olivia, Miss Amelia, Miss Isla and Miss Maya, who have come in to support and have been absolutely wonderful.

And of course, a huge thank you to Olivia at AcroPad and to our Cats workshop leader, Gabby, for coming in and providing such wonderful workshops for our students. We’ve loved being able to give them the opportunity to work with some fantastic guest teachers over the last couple of weeks. ✨

And a little thank you to for our amazing Summer School T-shirts too! We absolutely loved them! 💗👕

It’s been such a lovely, positive couple of weeks, and we really hope all of our students have loved their time with us as much as we’ve loved working with them.

We hope everyone enjoys the rest of the summer, and we can’t wait to welcome our students back for another exciting year from 7th September! 💗✨

Days 3 & 4 of Performance Lab ✨

We haven’t captured too much from the last couple of days because our teachers have been far too busy teaching, creating and having fun with our dancers! 💗

There have been storytelling through dance workshops, commercial workshops, lots of rehearsing and plenty of smiles along the way.

We’re so excited to see everything they’ve been working on come together for our Performance Lab sharing on Friday! 🌟

Here we go, week two of our summer programme, and what a day we’ve had to kick off Performance Lab Week! 💜

Today we welcomed the wonderful for our CATS workshops! 🐱✨ How amazing to have Gabby share her knowledge and experience of the show with our students, delivering some absolutely brilliant workshops inspired by choreography from the production. Thank you, Gabby, for making it such a special day for everyone!

We’ve also packed in:
🐱 CATS-inspired face painting
🎤 Singing workshops
🎭 Creative sessions
🎨 Arts & crafts
💜 Plenty of downtime and fun together

And a big thank you to Miss Ada, Miss Olivia and Miss Amelia for all your wonderful work with the students today, especially those fabulous face-painting skills! 🎨🐱💜

Most of all, there has been such a lovely atmosphere amongst all of our students today it’s been such a pleasure.

Whether you’d love to build their confidence, develop strength and coordination, introduce them to dance, movement and performance, or simply find something fun to enjoy together, we have a class for them.

Our preschool programme is where so much of the magic begins at CTA. 🩰✨

Led by Miss Faith, Royal Ballet School Affiliate Teacher, and delivered by our wonderful team of passionate teachers, our classes are carefully designed to grow with your little one.

🩰 Ballet & Me, age 2.5+
Our fully supported ballet class, where a grown-up can join in too. Perfect for our younger dancers or children who feel happier having someone they know alongside them.

🩰 First Steps Ballet, age 3+
The next step! A completely independent ballet class, gently building confidence, independence and ballet foundations as children work towards their IDTA First Steps Award.

🎭 Mini Modern & Musical Theatre, age 3+
For our independent preschool dancers, with lots of music, movement, performance, imagination and, most importantly, plenty of laughs! A brilliant confidence-building class.

🤸 NEW! Preschool Acro, Tuesdays
We’re so excited to launch our new preschool acro sessions with Miss Kelly, our preschool and early years specialist. Children can explore our acro equipment while developing strength, coordination, balance and body awareness, all through lots of fun and play.

We absolutely love this stage of a dancer’s journey. It’s about giving children a happy, positive introduction to movement and performance, building their confidence and letting them progress at their own pace. 💜

September enrolment is now open and we currently have availability across our preschool programme.

📚Finishing the day with a brilliant teacher CPD session with AcroPad (and a big thank you to the dancers who stayed to help! 💜)
🎨 Plus plenty of chill time with friends and arts & crafts galore!

And this is only Day One, we’ve still got another two weeks of summer school fun ahead of us, and I can’t wait to spend it with you all. 🥰

We’re also really excited to welcome our Seniors for their workshop days later this week! ✨
